The work on the house started on Oct 5, the previous year some preparatory concrete works had been done and we started by adding to the foundations a little to accommodate a modified design, which was no longer based on container boxes.
The work was completed mostly by a team of two construction workers, with some occasional outside help.
We spent our first night in the house exactly four months after the guys arrived on site to begin the works. Below is a view from the terrace at the front.
